  • Responsible for conducting pre and post-JetBlue Airlines fleeing checks
  • Responsible for securing passengers’ safety and checking if they are in the best comfort
  • Responsible for informing all guests regarding JetBlue Airlines’ aviation rules
  • Responsible for checking the airline’s equipment onboard, maintaining the cleanliness of the seats and aircraft inside, and monitoring if the seat pockets are all updated

How to Become a Flight Attendant with JetBlue

  • Must be 20 years of age (Some airlines require you be 21)
  • Able to reach 6’3 without shoes
  • Fit through over wing door
  • Must be fluent in English
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Aspiring applicants must be willing to work on a flexible schedule
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • The ability to legally work in the United States
  • Flexible schedule (flights are 24/7/365)
  • Aspiring applicants must have at least High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development) Diploma
  • Aspiring applicants must have at least one year of sales experience or a customer service role
  • Aspiring applicants must have a legal paper to work and stay in the US
  • Aspiring applicants must pass both a drug test and background checks of 10 years
  • Aspiring applicants must pass the Spanish language fluency assessment for future assignments to Bilingual destinations
